I have a very special guest with us for the first part of the show. He's no stranger to any of us. He is the one and only Eric Carey who is a well noted environmentalist in the Bahamas and also now working in support of a project being around in the Exuma area which he will talk to us about today. Welcome, welcome Mr. Carey.
[00:02:22] Speaker A: Hey Chicago, good afternoon to you. Good afternoon to your audience. Good afternoon to the Bahamas. Thanks for having me back.
[00:02:30] Speaker C: It's good to have you. Please forgive me for the other day but travel made it impossible for me to do the interview. But thank you for scheduling today.
[00:02:39] Speaker A: Well, I'll offer Mike my caveat. I'm actually sitting on the island link.
It's supposed to leave at one so hopefully it doesn't leave. It doesn't leave early and we lose signal. But we should be done by then because I know. Yeah, yes, yes you should be update.
[00:02:57] Speaker C: But but but but again you wanted to update us on what's yeah yeah project.
[00:03:04] Speaker A: You know when since I appeared on your show last a number of things have happened. You know we've gone to court, the closing arguments have been done. It's with the judge to make a decision.
But people keep asking, people keep asking, why is your client going to court? Are you just trying to stall this process? Why doesn't he just accept the government's decision to allow this development?
And so that's the whole essence of the judicial review. Right. So I wanted to just briefly update the public that the reason Bob Coughlin has instructed his attorneys on behalf, you know, to act on behalf of Turtle Grass is because Turtle Grass, as a development, feels that it has been wronged and disenfranchised. And so that's why he's gone to court. He hasn't gone to court to be a nuisance. He hasn't gone to court to be a thorn in Rosewood or Integra side. He's gone to court on principle. And as a developer, he has a right if he feel that government has made a decision that that may be legally disadvantaging him and he's within his rights to go to the Bahamian courts and wherever to get the justice for the development and the basis of it. People. Well, what is he arguing? And the main point of the case, Zhivago, is that the entirety of the project was not.
The project was approved in what Fred Smith and the legal team calling salami slices. So a part of the project was approved that went through public consultation and then lots of other pieces of this project didn't see the light of day and didn't have public consultation.
Certain things were changed after a CEC was issued.
So we've been pointing out irregularities in this case and Zhivago, we believe that this is going to be a landmark test of the new legislation, relatively new, was passed by the last administration probably in 2020 or something like that. And this is. We now have finally good, solid legislation to test these principles of environmental decision making by government regulatory agencies. That's why he's in court.
[00:05:34] Speaker C: And it is an. It is a legitimate point of argument. I don't. I'm not saying you're going to win it, but it is absolutely.
It is a legitimate point of argument that you did consultation on a project that looked like this. When presented at the consultation, you. But now the project looks like this after the consultation. Because if you are allowed to get away with that, then why wouldn't a developer always present a project in a format that is almost impossible to refuse and then not modify it after the consultation? Well, that can't be right. If you consult with me on something you should do what you consulted with me on. That was the point of the consultation. So I could see that. I could see that as a point.
[00:06:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
And the judge will make a decision, you know, and so the judge will make a decision based on the merits of what we've presented, and it will either go against us or for us. But the thing is, my client genuinely believe that he is on the right side of right. You know, he's been accused of interfering with government decision making and he should accept this or whatever, or he's being introducing stall tactics or he's been called a bully by a Member of Parliament on the floor of the House. Right. He's been called out and in the newspapers, but that doesn't faze him because he believes he's on the right side of right. And you know what's really interesting, when I talk to the developer, Bob Coughlin, this is not about him personally. He has no personal acts with the Rosewood Development. In fact, he's been looking for a solution of coexistence from this thing, broke across the bow of his vessel, sailing towards development.
So he's not have a personal beef with any developer. He wants coexistence, but he has not been able to get the proper audience. He hasn't been able to negotiate a coexistence. So when you can't negotiate a settlement, you have only one option available to you, Adi. You go to some sort of tribunal or you go to the courts and the decision gets made. And what he's after is establishing how these things should be assessed in the future and that all the legal loopholes that exist be closed, any deficiencies in decision making be identified so that another developer in the future, even if he loses this fight, another developer may have a better chance and not be disenfranchised, because government will take note that people are not afraid to take them to court and indeed, that there are some kinks in the armor.
[00:08:33] Speaker C: So you're waiting now for a ruling on the matter to come forward. And so that's it. And then after that, you'll know what the state of the law is, what
[00:08:43] Speaker A: the next step says. Absolutely. We will see whether the law is robust enough to support the arguments that we put forward. And. And if. Look, if we.
[00:08:54] Speaker C: Or rather whether your argument is robust enough to stand up to the law, as read as. As. As. As deemed by the judges.
[00:09:01] Speaker A: Absolutely. So, you know, it will be assessed either way. And what we definitely will do is that we will make sure that if we feel that our arguments were Robust enough. And there are deficiencies in the system. We're not going to stop there, of course. We're going to continue to try and prove that there is something wrong happening here. There's a certain reality, Chimago, that when we do our. When we've done our research and we realize that there are certain jurisdictions where the environment carries more weight in these cases, I'm afraid to say, as a Bahamian environmentalist, our environment does not carry as much weight as in other places where we've seen landmark decisions in Jamaica, Belize, elsewhere.
[00:09:53] Speaker C: But the court's responsibility is not to weigh the.
The way. The way the.
The substance of the environment. It is to interpret what the law intended. Right. And so it is also.
They have to understand the law as it is written.
[00:10:13] Speaker A: Right. But this is also to look at.
And sometimes it is often to establish precedent. Right, what we're saying.
[00:10:21] Speaker C: Yeah, but only. Only precedent. Any. Only precedence insofar as the interpretation of the law is concerned. And if the. If the parliament deems that their interpretation of the law does not accord with what Parliament intended, then Parliament could go back and change the law so that. That reflects that. So pre. So the precedence is on the interpretation of the law, not in the weight of the social weight of a particular issue. Even though I must concede, it does come into play. It does come into play sometimes.
[00:10:49] Speaker A: And what we're saying. And we're just. What we're saying is that in recent times, there have been cases in Jamaica where the environmental weight has been heavier, where a judge basically determines, okay, this one is a little tricky, but the judge has the ability to err on the side of caution, whether it's for the developer or whether it's for the environment.
And he's not wrong either way. I'm not suggesting.
[00:11:21] Speaker C: I got you. I got you.
I understand.
[00:11:24] Speaker A: I hoping we will establish precedent where a judge might say, okay, yes, this is probably something. The environment probably should be more featured more and carry more weight in this decision. We don't know what he's going to decide. But the interesting thing is Chicago is that throughout the Commonwealth, which is what will guide a Privy Council decision on that there is precedent where sometimes lower courts have said this wasn't an important issue, and a higher court might say, absolutely, it was, and the judge should have looked at the precedent established in Jamaica. XYZ vs XYZ. So my point is. My point is my client is prepared to use the resources to have exposed all of the potential opportunities available to the legal system to fully litigate and address issues such as this. And for the first time, we now have legislation that the judge can be supported by in his decision. That's. That's really all we're saying.
[00:12:32] Speaker C: Right, right.
Insofar as the two developments are concerned, what is happening in terms of anything?
Where are both developments proceeding or what's happening?
[00:12:44] Speaker A: No, no. So the.
My client. And this has been interesting because Chicago, there was a public relations negative campaign against my client saying he has defrauded the public by saying he was going to do a development. And now he's just using this land for private family and friends. What happened is basically once he determined that his project faces an existential threat from this other development, he's not going to go ahead and spend his plan, 75, 80 million dollars to do a development that he thinks will fail. So what he said that in the event he's not allowed to proceed because the courts may not rule in his favor and the government may not reconsider or the developer may not come back to the table to negotiate, then he can't do his development. So what is he left to do? The houses that he secured proper permits for from the local government, his solar array, et cetera. Well, he'll just have to use it for personal reasons because he owns it. But he hasn't.
People are saying his intent all along was to have a little private retreat. That's foolishness. He intended a development. He was already employing 50 people. He was about to apply for his full site plan to take his resort forward, and then he got hit with what he considers a bombshell existential threat. So he can't proceed if the other development proceeds in its current state. The other development, I understand, is under a legal injunction to proceed and he cannot proceed until this matter is dealt with in the court.
[00:14:31] Speaker C: Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something that I believe.
This is me, Chicago, Sean, like I tell investors this when I have occasion to have to tell them.
If you're. If your behavior in the country amounts and rises to.
The politics of attack, then I suspect that your arguments are not as strong as. As they need to be.
Because what you should be arguing are the merits of and the demerits of a case somebody puts against you.
[00:15:12] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:15:13] Speaker C: Or you put for yourself attacks that call into question the character of this person and that person and the next person and so forth. When you start to get in that, that kind of business that I started looking at you look cross eye.
[00:15:26] Speaker A: Well, you know, you have to also realize human nature is interesting because this development really, this issue heated up right around election time. And you know exactly what happens during election time. People make everything political.
So that also was an unfortunate timing for this project. So my client was attacked by politicians saying he was interfering with the political process by laying off people just before an election, etc. I think those are just unfortunate alignments of timelines that have nothing to do with the real issue at hand here. A developer,
[00:16:11] Speaker C: you got to know if the issue for a politician is you lay off people around election time and you have an issue about a matter which is before the government, you excuse me if I don't look at you cross eyed.
[00:16:26] Speaker A: It's fully understood. And. And the spin doctors are paid to spin again. The election has come and gone. The issue remains before the court.
And like I said, we're hoping that this will establish a legal precedent which will guide development in our country, you know, going forward. That's. That's really what we're after.
[00:16:46] Speaker C: So it shouldn't be long before we. We hear something, Right? Because, I mean,
[00:16:52] Speaker A: it's the judge.
[00:16:54] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:16:54] Speaker A: He has, he has volumes and volumes of, Of. Of paper and reports.
[00:17:00] Speaker C: Yeah. Okay.
[00:17:01] Speaker A: Consider. I, you know, so it's, It's. It's in his hands. And we, we respectfully. We respectfully await without. Without prejudice.
[00:17:11] Speaker C: Let us. Well, let's. Let's see what happens and be interesting to talk to you once we know.
[00:17:16] Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. All right, my friend.
[00:17:18] Speaker C: But appreciate it, man. Take care.
[00:17:19] Speaker A: All right, Take care.
[00:17:20] Speaker D: All right, good.
[00:17:20] Speaker C: All right. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, we're gonna take a break right after this, but I'm gonna play something for you and then we'll be back after.

[00:30:34] Speaker C: Welcome back. Welcome back to Z Live, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Chevalgo Lang, your host. I'm so glad that you could join us here today on Guardian Radio, 96.9 FM on this beautiful far. By Friday I'm in Toronto.
Yep, still and all goes well.
1:50am in the morning I'll be flying out to Singapore. And so I got a lot of traveling, a lot of traveling to do.
You know, I. It's life is so interesting, right? So I'm in, in Toronto and I saw under the news in here in Canada. I think it's in Toronto, maybe it's in Alberta, one of the two places I saw that.
I saw that they have arrested some police officers for corruption.
I said, boy, the struggle is real. A lot of places. And then I saw in the United States of America they had arrested and fired. When they fired a gang of police officers for.
For sending around racist, racist emails.
What's the common. What's the common denominator? Not that they're police officers, you know, just some human beings. And the way we live and pursue our lives, man, the stories we're telling ourselves in our heads and the way we are living amongst ourselves, like.
[00:32:04] Speaker B: I don't get it.
[00:32:05] Speaker C: I don't get it, bro. How stupid can you be?
That person is a human being.
[00:32:12] Speaker B: A human being.
[00:32:13] Speaker C: Black, white, yellow, green, whatever. The human being. Why you think you. So what is it? It's an insanity. It's a sickness. We don't want to face it. But it's a sin sickness that has us so, so twisted, so warped. Some of us just twisted. Maybe we all have the same problem.
But some of us, like we have, we have just. We've chosen to walk in a way. We're asking problems. Yes, really a big problem for lots of people. See, you could have a sin problem. That's a problem mostly for you.
But then people got like a sin problem. That means I gotta be violent with you.
I gotta be hateful of you, man.
Oh, the stupidity.
All the stupidity of the fallen human race.
God have mercy upon us.
Anyway, I'm trying to pick it up. I'm trying to pick it up. I'm trying to pick it up. So, Producer, I want you to. I want you to.
Y' all get. Have a dance on me, man.
Go ahead, Producer.
[00:33:55] Speaker B: Talk about, talk about, talk about moving.
Gotta move on, Gotta move on, Gotta move on.
Won't you take me to Funky Town?
Won't you take me to Funky Town?
Won't you take me to Funky Town?
Won't you take me to Funky Town?
[00:34:47] Speaker D: Sa.
[00:35:16] Speaker B: Take me to Bunket Town.
Won't you take me to Bunket Town?
Won't you take it to Bunket Town?
Gotta make a move to a town that's right for me.
Moving, keep me moving it's not.
Way I talk about it, talk about it, talk about it, talk about it, talk about, talk about, talk about moving.
Gotta move on, gotta move on, Gotta move on.
[00:36:37] Speaker C: Won't you take me to Funky to.
Yes. Will you take me to funky town?
Ah, boy, sometimes it just feel like that.
Like going to Funky Town.
Because life could get so topsy turvy, upside down, weird.
You know what I mean?
Ah, boy, I.
I spent a lot of time just pondering myself, ourselves, you know, what we are about.
Yeah, I do.
Anyway, I. I want y' all to. I want you all to go. Go into the. The weekend.
I should.
[00:38:13] Speaker D: Half. Half.
[00:38:14] Speaker C: Okay. I can't. I can't make you all. Okay.
Those of you who grew up in the 80s. I mean, you were like in your teens in the 80s.
If you graduated in the 80s like I did.
Tell me. Tell me what you were doing when you hear the song for the first time. We. We can play it for you and then we'll take that into our news break. But tell me what you were doing when you hear this song for the first time. Depending on how old you are, maybe it was one of them people inside one of them places getting down to this. All right, tell me where you were.
[00:39:23] Speaker B: I'm glad you're home now. Did you really miss me?
I guess you did by the look in your eyes.

Play that poker music White boy, lay down the bo and play that p music Till you die Till you die, yeah.
[00:48:40] Speaker C: Welcome back. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to Z Live. I'm Chicago Lang, your host. So glad you could join us here today on Guardian Radio, 96.9 FM on this beautiful F.
Friday.
Y' all all right, y' all quiet out there.
Sleepy age, busy paying bills. What's going on this Texas, Mr. Lang, that song reminds me of when I was aboard abroad in college at Tuskegee on the dance floor. That was a hit back then. Yeah. I knew some of y' all will remember that song, knowing you all do.
This text says, Mr. Lang, I used to be deep down buried in Waterloo, dancing CC I know, I know. You always remember this text is, Good afternoon, Mr. Lang. I shooting marbles in my Fruit of the Loam's underwear when this song
[00:49:36] Speaker D: also.
[00:49:36] Speaker C: I enjoy turning in on Friday, tuning in on Fridays. Keep up the good work. Thank you, but that remind me, but you're gonna play outside me in your Jockey's day when he was younger.
[00:49:51] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:49:51] Speaker C: They have no pride, no dignity.
Couldn't get less.
Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy.
Sweet days they were. No bills, no issues, no challenges other than playing.
Well, schoolwork would have been a bit of a challenge, but other than that,
[00:50:16] Speaker D: man,
[00:50:18] Speaker C: you used to be.
Used to be having a ball.
Not when you're adulting, though.
I've been Dalton, and you're adulting. You got to take on all kind of things, all kind of stuff. Do all kind of stuff.
I tell you all. The other day, my, my, my sun in university, my last job called me to ask me for some money. So I asked him, I said, but I just send you some money. What's going on?
He told me, say, daddy, the university expensive, you know.
I said, bro, I pay for your tuition, I pay for your room on board. I pay for your food, I pay for your books, I pay for your computer, everything.
It's the most expensive for you I said, things ain't expensive for you. You are broke.
Like the rest of us wouldn't be in university. You're broke and you can't afford nothing.
Oh, boy.
But you know, it is what it is. You do what you do and, and, and the beat goes on. So, Chicago, me and my friends swimming in the canals and couldn't let our mothers know in the summers. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If y', all, if our parents knew some of the stories that, that, that we could tell about them summer breaks, boy, some of them would have been they. Some of the hot attacks.
I ever tell you I literally almost drowned one summer?
I, I'm so, You know, those of you living grandma and no grandma for the canals.
And I lived in Calvin beach and we went out. My brother, my big brother Tyrone was there too. So, you know, I went with him and some friends. And what we would do is we'd swim from one side of the canal to the next. I had never done it before, but that's what these bigger boys would do.
So everybody went. And I was kind of a little nervous and scared. So I dive in afterwards, right? I could swim. And man, when I got to the middle of that canal, I panicked and I started sinking. Y' all listen, y' all do whatever you all want to do with this, but this is exactly what happened to me.
As I was sinking, I heard a voice say, relax.
And I just, I just calmed down and I floated back to the top and I swam as my brother and daughters were waiting for me on the other side.
And needless to say, I ain't swim back.
I walk all the way around to get to the other side to meet them. But that literally happened to me.
I heard that voice say to me, relax.
And I calmed down and I floated to the top. And my mommy didn't have to have no stories about how our son drowned on that day. That's the God honest truth.
This text says blank. Back then, I couldn't afford a jockey.
I seen that too.
I've seen that too. I've seen kids running around naked. I've seen that too. It says, good afternoon, Mr. Lang. Have been. I'm seeing the rumors regarding a former national security minister and high ranking police officer being denied.
Are you and I. I don't deal with the rumors, man.
When some, some actually come surface, that is evidential. We could deal with that, but not, not rumors.
Go ahead, call her. We're listening to you.
[00:53:51] Speaker D: Yeah, good afternoon, brother Lang.
[00:53:54] Speaker C: Hey, what's going on, bro?
[00:53:55] Speaker D: Yeah, well, running with you. You don't be quick to down people because boy, send some text sometime and you just start to read them and you stop. You don't get off on them kind of things. I realize that, but I just called to tell you, right? I had experienced it after one of my cousins, he's on Goodman's Bay. This is years ago, he's now deceased. But my, my cousin, I had a cousin ran the QC and my brother ran the socks.
And so what happened is as my cousin began to drown, he started to hold on me. But I was the weakest swimmer. And I thank God for them to today because they actually, they went under the water and they helped him until we reached the shore. You understand what I'm saying? But I want you to know right when you said that, listen to me, when you said that something tell you to relax, that had to be in
[00:54:38] Speaker C: the father because I didn't say no, I didn't say something tell me to relax. I said a voice.
And I know it was the voice of God. I know that. Thank you. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:54:49] Speaker D: But hold on. See, but Mr. Lang, believe you me, right, My, my oldest brother was always the strongest. But right now I'm a strong swimmer. We used to swim from Sandy's beach across to that island and back. But I never used to be into the racing thing though. And some young men tried to accompany us. And I watched him start to breathe hard and I turned around and I said, big man, you better turn him back. So what I do is I go on my back and I relax or I go underneath, know I learn how to relax. And if you a swimmer and you don't know how to relax or learn how to relax in the water, you're going to drown.
I just wanted to share that because I realized that is the most important part of swimming for survival. I'm not talking about competition, you understand me? Yeah, but for some reason you were supposed to be here because that same voice that you heard is the voice that kept you alive. Because it kept me alive plenty times when big waves would come. And I said if you don't relax, you know, sometime when you miss a swallow the water you get a little nervous or, you understand me, you, if you the swimmer and you missing smaller little bit of water, you got to learn to relax. That, that was, that was the key factor right there. I just want to share another day about something that mentioned as it relates to explaining to the lay people, as it relates to this refinancing and all that, because I'm no, just another Day. Have a good day, brother. Respect.
[00:56:06] Speaker C: No problem. Bye bye. By the way, 52, you can't be falling in no holes on the road. And your horn blowing.
[00:56:14] Speaker B: Now
[00:56:17] Speaker C: we have another call online. Go ahead, call over. Listening to you.
[00:56:21] Speaker D: Hello?
[00:56:22] Speaker C: Hey, what's up?
[00:56:23] Speaker D: Hey, Lang, how you doing?
[00:56:25] Speaker C: I'm right here, man. What's going on?
[00:56:27] Speaker D: Just to see what kind of music is playing with talking with swimming and my schoolmates do talking about that. I'd been on goodness day too, and my girlfriend couldn't swim. But I had to teach her how to swim. And it took me about an hour and a half.
And there were these two other girls coming there and one of them go to swim. And then she tried to teach the next one how to swim. Swimming up and down. So I said, you don't know how to swim? She said. She said, no. As you see, my girlfriend, about an hour and a half, she didn't know how to swim either.
You serious? So I call her, I said, they all asked what you want to ask her? Yeah, I didn't know how to swim. And the last an hour I had two of them girls with them swimming. They come on the beach, didn't know how to swim.
[00:57:12] Speaker A: Nice.
[00:57:13] Speaker C: Nice.
[00:57:15] Speaker D: Yeah, nice. What kind of music you're playing today?
[00:57:18] Speaker C: May I? All over the place today, man. But we a little upbeat today. Little upbeat today.
All right. You're happy today. Thank you, my friend. This text says good afternoon. Line. I had the same experience you had. God is faithful. He is indeed.
If you don't believe in God, that's on you.
Don't get me mixed up.
Don't get me mixed up. I told you all before, I was in Japan in a place called Ibaraki.
And I was out walking out one night. I was going to be in Japan for three months. I might probably was a month in now.
I'm looking up at the sky. And the sky looked like the same sky I would see when I looked up from the Bahamas.
And I just felt so lonely.
I said it to myself, I said, lord, I feel so alone.
And as soon as I said alone, this Japanese boy, he had been maybe in his 20s, walked up to me and he said, excuse me, sir, one minute. I pray for you. I said. I said, excuse me. He says, yes, one minute, I pray for you. I said, yes. I closed my eyes, he prayed. When I opened my eyes, he was gone. You do it. That what you want.
That happened to me.
I ain't lying. But nothing like that.
And I'm the first time I have either Let me see. We have some text here.
This text says I. I remember when we were young. In order to ensure that my brother changed his jockeys regularly, I got him those polyester vibrant underwear. With the days of the in boyfriend I used to see Tuesday and Friday, I never. That's crazy.
This Texas.
My car fell in a porthole. And I kid you not, my wife.
All right, listen, man.
Listen. I'm gonna play one song for you.
And the beat goes on. You remember that many y' all remember to be underbeat goes on. Well, if you don't remember, we can. We can remind you. Go ahead, producer. And the beat goes.
[00:59:43] Speaker B: Sam.
Just like my love everlasting.
Still needing strong all and more do you ever wonder Got to win, somebody's got to lose I might as well get over the lose Just like fish again the ocean There always be someone
[01:00:38] Speaker D: new
[01:00:40] Speaker B: from that time you did me wrong But I've been through stormy weather.
Things go on and off don't stop for nobody this time I keep my feet on solid ground Now I understand myself when I'm down Like the sweet sound of hit music There'll always be something new to keep the tables turning hey.
The beat goes on.
Get down. Playing that field to show the beat is real.
The beat.
And I love Just like my love, baby Just like my love, baby and the beat goes on still moving strong and I love it the beat goes on the beat goes on the beat goes on the beat goes on the beat goes on the beat goes on Goes on the beat goes on Beat goes on the beat goes on the beat goes on the beat goes on the beat goes on and the beat goes on Just like my love everlasting oh. And the beat goes on still moving strong.
[01:04:27] Speaker A: Yes, sir.
[01:04:27] Speaker C: And the beat goes on and the beat goes on and the beat goes on and the beat goes on I don't know why. Okay, let me read something for you. 52. You need to hear this, so I need to say this for 52. 52.
Someone texted this to say, my goodness, what happened to it?
[01:04:57] Speaker D: Why?
[01:04:57] Speaker C: What happened? I wonder if that was a text or was.
Yeah, 52. Someone say someone called. Oh, yes, yes, yes.
Says, good afternoon, Mr. Lang. Could you tell 52 that a man who called on Dwight's show this morning said that he heard that he had died. I'm happy that you are still alive and kicking, Diego. 52. Boy babies could kill you. This is Lang. I had an experience of an air drowning in a canal near the old Bahamian Beach Club. We were swimming across the canal. I gave up 50, 15ft before reaching the other side. I started going down. My brother and my cousin saved me while others saw all that and didn't swim. They walk around talking how they would carry my coffin. Thank God I was saved.
Wow.
[01:05:46] Speaker D: Wow.
[01:05:49] Speaker C: Okay, we have a call on the line or call a drop. Call a drop. Okay. I don't know why I don't know why my head.
This is in my head. But I'm gonna play this song for y' all and I swear and I swear but I can tell you I don't know why the song just telling me bishops you are yet anyway. Anyway. Because I guess because some bishops I know they're so old school. Old, old school. Right. This Play the song. We can take a break, ladies and gentlemen, and then we'll come back after. [01:19:38] Speaker C: Really?
[01:19:38] Speaker D: And okay.
And many times when I turn around and open my eyes, he was gone.
Wow. I didn't get to see his face. And all I heard is his voice.
[01:19:51] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:19:52] Speaker D: And he's gone.
So does the Lord is truly real And I experienced that. The same thing with your experience in China.
[01:20:01] Speaker C: But before you go, let me tell you this experience I had. I went to a Jimmy Swagger concert, a Jimmy Swagger camp meeting one time. Then I was in university with. I went with my brother, who invited me to go.
And I was at the place in the camp meeting. I mean, there were thousands of people there.
[01:20:23] Speaker A: This old.
[01:20:23] Speaker C: This elderly white man walked up to me and he said, son, you have sinned a great sin. I in university now, I think I've been the most decent human being on planet earth for. For my age at that time. And. And he says, you have sinned a great sin. I. And, and then he. And he said I needed to repent. And so I let him pray. He prayed with me, et cetera. And I was so. I was so. I was so puzzled. And then I left. And then, like two weeks later, Jimmy's faggot was discovered. I said, that man had a message, but for Jimmy, not me.
[01:20:53] Speaker D: Wow, wow, wow.
[01:20:57] Speaker C: That actually happened to me.

[01:34:19] Speaker B: Once upon a time Slowly creeping on me and then they go on my mind Just let somebody love you I just don't know why Whenever I get close to you you wanna.
I'm missing your baby it's been so long I'm missing your baby it's been so long I'm missing you baby it's been so long One I'm losing you baby.
And we sing love sweet songs every day I believe that in my heart now.
For that I don't believe that you could do me this way now don't you understand?
I'm in need of comfort the comfort of your hand in mine While I feel inside While you come closer.
Won't you come along see about me, About me, about baby.
Come on see about me?
I can't do? I can't do without you?
Now? Don't ask me to?
To do whatever you love, you love?
Cause I won't do it?
You can't make me do it?
Stay?
